TRUTH WILL ALWAYS STAND THE TEST OF TIME

Dove of Peace

In a world where error and deceit has become the norm, where evil and iniquity goes on unchallenged and where unrighteousness is the rule rather than the exception, there is nothing as soothing and reassuring as the truth of God's word. The singular focus of Moment of Truth Ministries is to spread the light of God's pure word and help sincere seekers deepen their relationship with God.

We believe in the power of God's truth that liberates, delivers and sets free from oppression, the powers of darkness and sin. A deeper commitment to the study of the unchanging word of God will always translate into a deeper walk and understanding of God, which unfortunately is lacking in present day churches.

The ministry's mission is twofold:

“I am come that they might have life and
that they might have it more abundantly”
— John 10:10

Samson is the pastor of Moment of Truth Ministries. He is a prolific teacher of the scripture and gifted with an expository approach to bible teaching and preaching. He has been in Ministry for 2 decades and has been involved in ministerial work in the United Kingdom and Africa. Some of his well-known sermons include 'The Life and Prayer of Jabez', 'The Balance of Grace', 'The Great Conquest', 'The Power of God's Presence', 'The True Worship of God', 'The Origin and Spirit of the Anti-Christ' 'Fulfilling Your Primary Calling' and many more. The Moment of Truth Ministries holds a monthly interdenominational event called 'An Evening in God's Presence'.

Samson has been guest minister at several ministries within the United Kingdom and overseas, and continues to be in high demand for bible exposition and inspirational ministration.

In these days of great deception and so many unscriptural practices, the Moment of Truth Ministry has seen the critical need to establish a Bible Training Centre where the truth can be taught and God’s people can be rooted in biblical knowledge and revelation.

The Ministry has influenced and impacted the lives of many people all over the globe. People who have sat under the teaching of Pastor Samson Jebutu or watched him on TV keep asking for more. The ministry has opened a Bible Training Centre in King's Cross, London, where people of all denominations have concentrated time to dig deep into the hidden manna of God’s word.

The focus of the Bible Training Centre is to equip believers with the word and impact ministries for the work of God. The Bible Training Centre is also designed to provide crystal clear exposition on a variety of Christian topics through teaching that is systematic in approach. The testimonies received, confirms how the Bible Training Centre continues to change lives and ministries.

With a deep desire to disseminate the truth to as many people as possible, the Ministry has made the Bible School free for all registered delegates. Why not join many others in experiencing a dynamic change in life and ministry through the Bible Training Centre.

An evening in God's Presence is an inter-denominational monthly meeting specifically designed to take you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and present you before the very presence of God. It is only in His presence that we experience the glory, fulfillment and spiritual awakening that we so much desire. In His presence we are renewed and rejuvenated to face the challenges that confront us daily.'

It is in God's presence that our weaknesses are exchanged for His strength. Where else will you want to be apart from His presence? For in His presence we are concealed away from ever-present evil. As you come throughout the year to this monthly event, His ever abiding presence will secure you and all that is yours in this year and beyond.

What passes for Christianity in our day is cheap religion!

To listen to the current concepts of Christianity, we would conclude it is little more than bits of beautiful poetry, a man-made bouquet of fragrant flowers, a kindly smile for our neighbour and a couple of good deeds on behalf of a brother or sister. When I consider some of the elements now offered in Christianity as acceptable religion, I have to restrain myself lest I speak too disapprovingly. I fear my words would be so strong that I would have to repent of them! And I read in the Scriptures that there are some things God does not want us to say even about the devil. What do we find surfacing in much of our Christian fellowship? The complaint that God takes a long time to work out His will. We do not want to take the time to plow and cultivate. We want the fruit and the harvest right away. We do not want to be engaged in any spiritual battle that takes us into the long night. We want the morning light right now! We do not want the cross-we are more interested in the crown!

GenesisThe Bible: The entire bible is inspired by God and is infallible. It is the only source of true revelation from God to Mankind. The bible consists of 67 books in the Old and New Testament. The Old Testament has 39 books and the New Testament has 27 books. (II Timothy 3:16) (Revelation 22:18,19)

The Trinity (Godhead): God is triune in nature consisting of three separate, distinct, personalities, perfectly united in one. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19) (II Corinthians 13:14)

The Virgin Birth of Jesus: Jesus was born of a virgin as prophesied in the book of prophet Isaiah. He was crucified, died, buried and rose bodily on the third day. (Isaiah 7:14) (I Corinthians 15: 3,4)

Repentance: God demands a complete turning away from all sins before a sinner can truly and effectively believe in Jesus with saving faith. (Proverbs 28:13) (Mark 1:15)

Restitution: God demands that we make amends for offences committed to fellow men after we've become born again. When sin is committed it is usually against God and/or man. It is therefore essential that after one has settled with God, offences towards man are also addressed less the doctrine of God be blasphemed e.g. returning stolen goods to its rightful owner. (Ezekiel 33: 14-16) (Matthew 5: 23, 24)

Justification by Faith: Justification is an act of God whereby one receives forgiveness and remission of sins and is counted righteous before God. This is made possible by faith in the atoning blood of Jesus. Consequently the regenerated now stands before God as though he had never sinned because of the accomplished work of Christ for mankind. (Psalm 32: 1) (Acts 13:38)

Water Baptism: In obedience to God's command, water baptism is essential for every believer. It is an outward declaration of an inward experience received at salvation. It is done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19) (Romans 6:4, 5)

The Lord's Supper: This is an ordinance instituted by Jesus Christ for all believers to partake of and is to 'shew the Lord's death till He come'. The emblems used are unleavened bread and the juice of the ‘fruit of the vine'. (Matthew 26:29) (I Corinthians: 11:23-30)

Sanctification: Sanctification is a definite act of God's grace, by which the believer's heart is purified and made holy. This experience is subsequent to the new birth and is an integral part of God's doctrine of Holiness and Purity of life, which is a central part of Christian living.

Holy Ghost Baptism: This is the gift of the Spirit's baptism promised in scripture to all true believers. The gifts of the spirit are for the church today without which there can't be effective ministration in the church.
(I Corinthians 12:1-31) (I Corinthians 14:1-40)

Marriage: Under the New Dispensation, none has the right to divorce and re-marry while the first companion is alive, such action is a direct transgression of God's word. God is very clear about His stand for monogamy. Marriage is binding for life. (Romans 7: 2,3) (Malachi 2: 14, 15) (Mark 10:2-12)

Rapture: The bible teaches that there will be a catching away of the living and dead saints from the earth unto the Lord before the Great Tribulation. This can happen at any time in a twinkling of an eye. All believers should ensure that that they are at all times living right, so as not to miss the rapture. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18) (I Corinthians 15:51-58).

Resurrection of the Dead: Everyone who has ever lived will be resurrected, some to honour and glory and others to everlasting shame and contempt. (John 5:28, 29) (Revelation 20:4, 6, 12, 13)

The Great Tribulation: Once the rapture has taken place, The Great Tribulation will begin. It will be a time of unprecedented wrath upon the face of the earth. During this period the devil will use the Anti-Christ as an instrument to unleash terror upon the earth. It is also referred to as the time of "Jacob's trouble" because although the suffering will be universal, it will centre on Israel. (Matthew 24: 21, 22, 29) (II Thessalonians 2:3-12) (Daniel 8:23-25) (Revelation 13:10)

The Second Coming of Christ and His Millennial Reign: Just as the first coming of Christ was literal so also will His second coming will be. While His first coming was to reach out to mankind in love and save sinners from their sin, His second coming will be to execute judgement upon the ungodly. At His second coming, Christ will set up His kingdom and reign for a thousand years. It will be a reign of peace and blessing during which time the devil will be bound. (Zechariah 14:3,4 and 9-20) (Jude 14,15) (Isaiah 11: 6-9)

The Great White Throne Judgment: The final judgement carried out by God Himself against all sinners that ever lived will take place at The Great White Throne Judgement. All sinners will be judged according to their works. All those that rejected the mercy of God offered through Jesus Christ will be cast into Hell. It is at this time also that the devil and his angels will be judged. (Revelation 20: 11-15) (Daniel 12: 2, 3)

Hell: Hell fire is the final abode for all sinners who reject the offer of God's mercy given through Jesus Christ and die in their sins. All those whose names are not written in the book of life will suffer torments forever. Hell was originally prepared for the devil, but the bible says that all who neglect God's offer of salvation will be included. (Luke 12:4,5) (16: 19-31) (Matthew 25:46)

The New Heaven and the New Earth: After the Great White Throne Judgement the present earth will pass away and a new Heaven and a new Earth ‘where righteousness dwells', made by God will be ushered in. Nothing unclean or sinful will be there. There will be no more curse nor night and the Lord will be the light therefore. (Revelation 21:1-7) (Revelation 22:1-5)
